To do this, all emission sources had to be identified and assessed accordingly.
In March 2024, we received our first greenhouse gas balance sheet, which shows where we can save greenhouse gas emissions and thus do our part to reduce our environmental impact.
The emissions balance for 2022 shows us that the values from Scope 1 and 2 are fortunately very low. This is due to the fact that we have already implemented measures such as the installation of our PV system and heat recovery from various machines.
In Scope 3, there are still some adjustments we need to make in order to reduce our carbon footprint. In the coming years, we will work together with our suppliers and business partners to improve the database for the greenhouse gas balance. This will help us to identify further measures and continuously improve our sustainability concept.
